True Circuits develops and markets a broad range of Phase-Locked Loops
(PLLs), Delay-Locked Loops (DLLs), and other mixed-signal designs for integrated circuits
for the semiconductor, systems and electronics industries.
The company was founded in 1998 by Dr. John G. Maneatis, world
renowned for his innovative PLL designs. TCI built its reputation on
providing quality full-custom PLLs, DLLs, and other mixed-signal designs to
the world's most demanding customers. TCI continues to provide this
custom service to those who require it.
To help customers with less specialized needs reduce costs and
turnaround time, TCI now offers a large family of standardized PLL and
DLL hard macros that spans nearly all performance points and features
typically requested by ASIC, FPGA, and SoC customers. These hard
macros are available for immediate delivery in a range of frequencies,
multiplication factors, sizes and functions in TSMC, UMC, GLOBALFOUNDRIES and
Common Platform logic processes from 0.25um to 28nm.
For customers with more specialized needs, TCI's advanced
characterization and porting technology, as well as our robust
state-of-the-art circuits and proven design methodology allow us to
provide our customers with leading-edge PLL and DLL hard macros in a variety of
process technologies quickly and reliably. The licensing terms for
our standardized and custom hard macros do not involve royalty payments.
TCI's reputation for reliability and timing excellence is unmatched.
TCI's PLL and DLL jitter performance is among the best in the industry. Its
leading-edge designs are both versatile and highly process tolerant.
The entire business model and product line have been specifically
designed so customers can license premium quality PLLs quickly and
easily with the highest confidence that their chip design will work on
the first silicon.
This website exists to answer your questions about PLLs and DLLs, and to help
you determine if your needs can be met by one of TCI's standard hard macros.
If you do not see a hard macro that meets your specifications,
TCI will be more than happy to discuss a customized solution with you.
