Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Layout Engineer
Job Description
- Perform analog/mixed-signal IC layout design of complex, high-speed circuits.
- Independently plan and implement layout for analog/mixed-signal design blocks, while adhering to specifications and guidelines set by design engineers.
- Manipulate layout CAD flows.
- Independently identify, debug and solve physical verification discrepancies (DRC/LVS).
- Assist design engineering team with tapeout activities and deal with post-tapeout activities such as documentation, archiving and job tracking.
- Work closely with the design engineering team on a day-to-day basis in
solving physical design issues.
Job Requirements
- BSEE required with 5+ years experience in analog/mixed-signal IC layout design.
- Proficient in custom analog/mixed-signal IC layout design, particularly at 90nm processes technologies and below.
- Experience with industry standard CAD tools.
- Knowledge of transistor level layout issues.
- Knowledge of C, Perl, ch and csh.
- Knowledge of Linux systems.
- Ability to work efficiently as a part of team as well as independently.
- Motivated and able to learn and use new CAD tools/methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
- Good documentation and follow up skills.
